Horses are a mirror to the soul and they reflect your state of being. Thus making it easier to see how you are really doing.

Being with horses has a healing effect on us humans. They are magical creatures full of wisdom, peace and power at the same time.

Holistic-Horsewalk.pt

We walk for 5 days, 10 - 15 km walk per day (only on dirt tracks). You have your own 2 person tent to sleep in, set-up on beautiful private lands. We go off-grid and immerse ourselves in nature. All vegetarian food, cooked on fire, and drinks will be provided.  Simply and delicious.

You will have your own horse for the week so that you can create a strong bond and can go deep together.
This journey is suitable for you if you have a longing to connect with horses, nature and yourself. Let the horses help you to sink into your body and leave the hectic world behind you.

What to bring:

  • Headlight
  • Gloves (when it is cold)
  • Hat (for sun protection)
  • Waterbottle
  • Travel insurance
  • Day backpack
  • A little notebook and pen
  • Bedsheet
  • Good walking shoes
  • All weather clothes (depending on the weather forecast)

A car will bring all our luggage to the next stop so you walk light. But the space is limited so please only bring what you really need.

Schedule

First day
Welcome and introduction. Learn about the participants and the horses. Connecting to your horse. Lunch. 4 km walk in the area to get aquainted with your horse. Feeding the horses. Dinner. Putting up the tents. Campfire* - sharing.

2nd day:
Rise with the sun. Easy Tibetan Yoga exercises. Packing up. Feeding the horses. Breakfast. Sharing and setting the theme of the day. Walk. Lunch, somewhere in the field. Relaxing. Walking. Installing in our place for the night. Brushing the horses. Dinner. Campfire* - sharing.

3th day:
Rise with the sun. Easy Tibetan Yoga exercises. Packing up. Feeding the horses. Breakfast. Sharing and setting the theme of the day. Walk. Lunch, somewhere in the field. Relaxing. Walking. Installing in our place for the night. Brushing the horses. Dinner. Campfire* - sharing.

4th day:
Rise with the sun. Easy Tibetan Yoga exercises. Feeding the horses. Breakfast. Sharing and setting the theme of the day. Walk to the beach with the horses and have a lunch there. Relaxing. Brushing the horses. Dinner. Campfire - sharing.

5th day:
Easy Tibetan yoga exercise. Packing up. Breakfast. Sharing. Back to home.

6th day:
Waking up and doing some easy yoga, breakfast and everybody can go his own way again. Please contact us if you have special wishes or ideas to implement.
