The first 5 day Horsewalk is behind us and was an amazing adventure with fantastic weather We were with a group of 6 people, 5 horses and 3 dogs. For all of us it was the first time we did a journey like this and we were all very excited.
We walked about 14km per day over hills with spectacular views and through valleys with amazing vegetation. Sometimes the unpaved road were wide but often the paths through the forests were so small we had to walk in line.
Impressions of our first journey
About an hour before dark we did put up the tents, fed the horses and cooked our diner. After the simple meals it was time for sharing our experiences and evaluate the lessons learned, because ooh my, what a teachers the horses are.
The evenings ended with staring at the stars and listening to the sounds of the grazing horses around us.
