For you...

You don't need any experience with horses to join us for a walk. People who have a fear of horses, people with a bad horse experience, people with no experience, you will all have a great expereince. It might even change your life.

Because horses are big, and impressive. And you walk with them on a lead. It's not something that you do every day and it might sound scary. And it might be scary in the beginning. But we promise you that you feel so much more confident, self insured, stable and grounded, and happy too, after the walk. Everybody did, so far, and so will you.

What you'll do

We'll welcome you next to the field and will introduce you to the 3 horses and 2 yearlings that we took in, the youngest being born 8th May 2019.

After the introduction, you can step into the field to become one with the herd. The horses might pick their walking partner or you can pick the one you feel comfortable with.

Horses are mirrors to the soul and they can reflect your actual State of Being. We might reflect on things that we notice in you while being with a horse. This can be an insightful experience.

Most people leave here with a feeling of wellness, calm, and centeredness. But the main thing is going for the walk in the beautiful hills around Barão de São João. Halfway the walk we take a little break before we head back. Bring something to drink. We'll make sure that it will be an unforgettable experience.

Being with horses has a healing effect on us humans. They are magical creatures full of wisdom, peace and power at the same time.

They ask us to be authentic and to stand in our power. They ask us to be ourselves, to be present and alert. They ask us to communicate clear and kind. All the above will develop and grow during the week.

Walking with a horse is a totally different experience than riding. You have eye-contact and you are equals.

We will make sure you feel safe and we will assist you with interpreting the horse language and help you find your way in leading the horse. We will embark on an inner-journey where there is enough time to reflect, share, and enjoy the beautiful nature of the Western-Algarve with a horse as your buddy every step of the way.

Horses are a mirror to the soul. They reflect your State of Being. Thus making it easier to see how you are really doing. You might come in with a heavy burden and end the journey light as a feather. Each day we will introduce a different theme where you can reflect upon while walking with your horse.

Let the horse be your guide to find the answers within. Later at the campfire, there is time to share your feelings and findings with the group.
